I couldn't agree more, except for the unfortunate fact that 1. the far left's fault, if it is a fault, is insisting loudly on more justice and equality for more people; a surfeit of trust in the rule of law, and in-fighting about which people are going to get the justice first; 2. the far right's faults, which are definitely faults, are the desire to divide us, keep the wealth in a few powerful hands, and acting with cynicism, bad faith and contempt for all who stand in their way.
Which is why your equalivance of far-left and far-right is utterly false; and why bland, nicey-nice concepts like yin/yang and achieving balance are like sticking a daisy down the barrel of a gun.
We did that in the sixties, and here we are.
