I'm a Canadian who takes a keen interest in US Politics (for obvious reasons). So for whatever my outsider's opinion is worth: I think you are spot-on about Sanders and the voting conundrum in general. Biden and Harris were clearly the best - only - choice because the goal was to defeat Trump, even more than to elect one's ideal candidate. The US was on the brink of installing an autocratic leader, and still might. And although I think Bernie Sanders is a good and worthy man, it was obviously absurd to think a man who talks about "socialism," is way to the left of left, and makes no attempt to dial down the rhetoric could be elected in the current polarized US. Repubs call Biden's policies "radical" - how would Bernie have fared?
Exactly.
