I'm no Luddite, but I was thrilled to read your love-letter to real, sensual, intimately-connected drawing (which I'm beginning to teach myself, baby steps at a time). I don't see what place AI has in the practice of an artist. Frankly, it just seems like another cash-grabbing fad.

My favorite quote to date about AI and art (I'm paraphrasing):

"The problem with AI is that the model is backwards. I want AI to do my laundry and dishes so I can focus on my painting and writing. I don't want AI to do my painting and writing so I can focus on my laundry and dishes."
