OK, hold on, here. Of course not all Black people go through the same experiences, as individuals....

In that case—why are we having a wake-up call and conversation about systemic racism?

Because the concept of systemic racism tells us that that all Black people DO have the same experience—at least, at the level where statistics are generated and where "society" dwells. Doesn't it?
