Yes. Progressives need to set the agenda, set the topic of conversation, instead of always being in a position of reacting to the right’s agenda. Could we, just for once, take a cue from the right’s zeal and create the progressive storyline, one that people can relate to? Progressives need to stop thinking that we’re so obviously right, we shouldn’t have to explain what we mean… it shows contempt for the electorate. Or, put another way — could we grow a pair?
